BY JEN KEEHN OCT 3, 2014 Hurricane Odile slammed into Baja California late in the night on Sunday September 14th, with Category 3 and 4 force winds that hit at 140-150 mph. Odile is being heralded as the worst storm to ever touch land in this area, taking the lives of 15 people in its wake. The hurricane wreaked damage across Baja California Sur, destroying towns, leveling buildings, and displacing thousands of people.
